I’m ready, really ready, for autumn’s arrival. It’s the most giving of the seasons.
I’m ready for the northern breeze that sweeps things up and adds sway to my photography. I’m ready for leaves that saturate themselves, leaving me no need for post-processing. I’m ready for the brisk days that make it a joy to be outside all day long, catching festivals, football, and family gatherings without the oppression of heat and humidity. I’m ready for those foggy mornings. Oh, yes, those wonderful foggy mornings that make even the most novice of photographers a seasoned professional.
I feel it’s just around the corner. Maybe I’ll slumber for bit, and when I awake it will have arrived. (If it were only that easy!)
