It’s a new year, and so far it’s been an exceptionally difficult one. From health issues to friends losing family members to cameras breaking to lost credit cards — it’s been a doozy. I guess that’s the way things go though. You win some, you lose some…and sometimes there’s fog.
And speaking of fog, I shot some misty landscapes yesterday morning. I chased the fog, driving about 45 minutes to find it in all its groovy goodness. I mainly stayed on one rural street, a road that I just ventured down because it looked kind of creepy and wonderful. Here are three of the photos, all processed with Adobe Camera Raw.

Oh and another fun thing that happened last week? I twisted my ankle while on an engagement shoot. Well, before an engagement shoot to be exact. The rockstar couple, Cathy and Jeff, took me to dinner at Liberty Kitchen, where we shot a non-engagement engagement photo. I might have had a couple of strong Sweet Teas before taking this.

So what else? Oh, do you like your photography with a side of art, fashion and fairytale? I always do. That’s why I was thrilled when my friend Elaine turned me on to Kirsty Mitchell Photography. I mean…wow!
Until next time, to quote Alex Haley, find the good and praise it. My new favorite quote.
