Etsy Love

First things first — my blog has a new look.  Like it?  Dislike it?  I would love your feedback.

Okay…back to regular programming.

So I got back on Etsy earlier this week.  I’ve had a shaky love affair with Etsy — always setting up shop and then quickly dismantling shop due to work demands.  I’d say my efforts toward Etsy have been minimal at best.

But that’s about to change!

I’ve enlisted the help of others this time around.  I’ll no longer be doing the packing and shipping portion of the Etsy operations.  I’ll just be posting, signing and…most importantly…taking photos, both for work and for myself.  To me, the whole packing and shipping thing was always the killjoy.  With that out of the way, I think the shop will be up and running in earnest this time around.

So, I’ve added the Etsy Mini (linking to my shop) on the side of this blog in case any of you wanted to take a look-see — of course, I hope you do.  Finger, toes, eyes and ears (wait…ears?!!) crossed.

On a side note, I’ve really taken to creating Treasuries on Etsy.  A treasury is basically a collection of finds that have something in common, like all landscapes, all with a wedding theme, all funky ceramics — you get the idea.  I tried to take it one step further with my “Love in, love of…Paris!” treasury…and it took me over two hours to find just the right photos (insomnia).  I tried to tell a story.  The story is about a girl, a city and a beautiful romantic adventure.  The photos (none mine) are amazing.  To live vicariously through our heroine, just as I did when I was creating it, you can click here.

Bon voyage!
